$10,000,000 Dubai World Cup Saturday
Kentucky Derby winner California Chrome and Travers Stakes winner Frosted headline one of the most competitive fields in recent years for the world's richest race, the $10,000,000 Dubai World Cup, which takes place Saturday under the lights at Medan Racecourse in Dubai.
With both Chrome and Frosted recording easy victories over the Meydan main track this year, they figure to be the top two choices in the betting pool, which co-mingles wagers from North America, Europe and South Africa. The talent pool does not stop there, however, as the field also includes four Grade or Group I winners in Hoppertunity, Keen Ice, Mshawish and Special Fighter, among an expected field of 12.
The live betting action gets underway with the 2nd race at 8:20 a.m. Eastern Time, so be sure to set your alarm early.
